Waking up without an alarm clock in an exotic location I like to begin my day getting some exercise, quickly followed by getting my most important work done early. Depending on how my day goes I might meet a friend for lunch or an afternoon iced latte. Hopefully, I have some time in the late afternoon or early evening to enjoy some time outside before meeting my family for dinner. After that, I usually try to finish up my work for the week on my laptop so I can enjoy the long weekend I have planned ahead.

This is an ideal workweek for many of us. Getting our work done, staying healthy and enjoying time with friends and family. Usually in your hometown but with your passport as often as possible. This is not my current schedule but it will be and is my version of an ideal work/life balance that many of us are trying to achieve.
