Coworking in Berlin and Beyond with rent24

Starting about 3 years ago on Potsdamer Street in Berlin, rent24 has spread over 35 locations on three continents. Along with an inspirational environment, rent24 balances all you need to grow that start-up or idea with business support, the right community, and fun design quirks. We chatted with rent24's CEO and founder Robert Bukvic to learn more about a few of their spaces in Berlin.

What is the vibe, culture, and atmosphere like at rent24?

I would say that rent24 has a strong focus on community in our spaces. We want to give our members the best experience possible, so we strive to create valuable connections among them with happy hours, immersive events, and unique design elements in different locations. We actively introduce people working in related or similar fields so that they can benefit from sharing ideas and experiences. You'll find anyone from tech, creative, and business development.

What are some of your favorite elements of rent24 spaces?

There are a lot of things to discover in all our spaces, but each location is unique. Our space in Oberwallstr. 6, for example, has fun amenities like the miniature golf course and the movie theater. We also have a conference room with swings instead of chairs and a professional show kitchen.

What events have stood out as truly memorable for rent24?

This year was a really exciting year for us. rent24 was founded in 2015, so we turned three this year. We've had a few stand out events, like our international expansion with new locations. You'll see us in the U.S., Israel, Russia and the U.K. And we opened our first coliving space in Berlin.

We also launched our ICO with the our own cryptocurrency PRIMARY and announced our new blockchain platform to connect all our spaces and members with each other.

Any upcoming events folks should get excited about?

There are a lot in the pipeline! Locally, at our space in Oberwallstraße, we have exciting events on a regular basis, like workshops and tech breakfasts. We also partner with groups like Marketing Club Berlin to host talks. On a bigger scale, we are preparing openings of both coliving and coworking spaces in several countries. We'll also open our third food concept, a cupcake store, next month in Berlin. We're looking forward to our changes too.
